The new aquatics center is a wonderful and much needed facility for our community! I have been attending the aquatics fitness classes in the mornings from 9-10.00. The instructor is terrific; he is very professional and fun. The classes are always fun and beneficial. The only problem is that the pool is always crowded and a few times I have not been allowed in, because the class is already full, even though I arrived by 8:45. Is there any way you can add more classes? I am sure that other people are experiencing the same problem. Because I have serious arthritis problems, water aerobics are one of the few safe ways I can exercise.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this issue.
Sincerely,
Bobbie Gray
Hi Bobbie, Glad you like the aquatic center. We do too! Our blog is not actually affiliated with the Aquatic Center. We just like to discuss things that are great about Las Cruces and the Aquatic Center is one of those things. You can reach the aquatic center directly at 541-AQUA. You can also contact the City of Las Cruces with suggestions and comments. Best of luck!
